Grain Rain 穀雨
Guyu, or Grain Rain, is spring's last solar term; the rain feeds the grain and moistens the seedlings. Peonies bloom and spring tea is at its best as farmers busy themselves transplanting rice. A good rain is precious as oil, a prelude to a bountiful harvest.
